Brian Flaherty serves as a Vice President of Investment Banking with Janney’s Financial Institutions Group. His expertise includes advising community banks on strategic options, capital planning, sell-side mergers, buy-side mergers, and capital raising.

Brian joined Janney in May of 2019 as part of Janney’s acquisition of FIG Partners and has more than eight years of experience in the financial institutions investment banking industry. He has participated in over 40 transactions, representing over $1.7 billion in deal value.

He received a B.A. in economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and holds the Series 7, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses.
