Professional Designations

Janney encourages continuous professional development—either on an advisor’s own time, or through various group educational programs in which advisors join together to plan, study, and ultimately take exams. These professional development cohorts have proven successful not only for the content preparation and exam components, but for building camaraderie among advisors with similar ambition.

Focusing on new client outreach methods and industry-wide best practices, a one-on-one coaching approach ensures a customized plan that works for each advisor’s specific market focus and specialization. The result is a strategic plan with actionable steps to significantly boost your book of business.

Succession & Teaming

Build your Succession Plan

The Janney Succession Plan provides a path to continue the tradition of superior service for your clients through a structured transition process to a successor (Successor FA)—while rewarding our retiring FAs (Retiring/Retired FA) for the value of the business built over their careers as well as the time and effort required to achieve a successful transition of client accounts. Also, Janney Qualified Teams (JQTs) have the option to establish a death benefit as part of their teaming agreement.

Janney Qualified Teams

Forming a team is a big decision. We can help by providing a defined process with tasks, resources, coaching, and best practices to give each team the best opportunity to succeed.
